Bears Emergency Visit to the Vet

I cant get the picture to turn counterclockwise for some reason? Anyway. After Matt and Bear were gone after a long day of fishing, after an hour or so of Bear laying down I went to give him some loves and was noticing something on his chest and I started freaking out once I realized had happened. I frantically found Matt's Cell since I could locate mine (not surprising). Called our old Neighbor Dr. Gubler and asked what to do. He so kindly met Bear and I at the Vet Clinic to get looked at and then decided needed stitches that night. Which ment he needed to stay the night. Aww, sorry Bud! Bear getting ready for Dr. Gubler to start his work. I was a bit emotional at the time. Bear was acting if there was nothing wrong. He really couldn't reach that area to clean either. Anyway. It got to the time where Dr. Gubler was going to put Bear under and I couldn't help my self and I had to leave. We had decided at that time we should castrate him and also get a chip implanted in him. Thought it would be easier to do it all now while he was going under anyways. Matt was a bit bummed to hear Bear was loosing his goods so early in life. Anyway, I couldn't watch Bear go under. So I decided to leave at that point. But Matt and I thought about him all night and this morning we were so excited to go pick him up and hear about how he was. He really does fill that empty spot in our lives and just makes us so happy! His has such a wonderful presence.

Dr. Gubler said Bear did great! When they brought Bear out to us you wouldn't have been able to tell he had just been neutered/put under for the stitches...and I guess I will just add on get a chip implanted in between his shoulders. Tough Guy! Ah, glad the worst part is over...now wonder if Dog insurance would be worth it with Bear...LOL, no, but seriously? ;) Get feeling better Bear!
