Think like a Tree

Think like a Tree
Soak up the sun. Affirm life's magic. Be graceful in the wind.
Stand tall after a storm. Feel refreshed after it rains.
Grow strong without notice. Be prepared for each season.
Provide shelter to strangers. Hang tough through a cold spell.
Emerge renewed at the first signs of spring.
Stay deeply rooted while reaching for the sky.
Be still long enough to hear your own leaves rustling.

I really miss those two huge trees in our back yard. They gave a great privacy wall in between our neighbor and us. But it was more of a hazard than a good thing. So we decided to get them taken down and removed. Thank you All those that cam and helped remove the branches and wood that was left over. It was such a chore! But luckily now we have firewood for us all if any one needs it. Next spring I am excited to get some new trees to fill the spot..ones that don't get as big. Or ones we can keep up on. Well it makes a huge difference in our yard. No more leaves and branches everywhere after a storm or rain. That has been nice and now I don't need to do as much raking this fall. Yay!ks
