Autum's 7 weeks old today!

My Little baby is 7 weeks old. Goodness time just fly's by. She is still the perfect little baby, of course. She is awake a little more throughout the day. She has more control of her head and just loves looking around and seeing her surroundings. She is cooing a little bit..but not to much. She is a big smiler. I can now almost get her to smile when I want to show others her adorable little smile.

She has been having some little troubles. She hadn't had a bowel movement for 5 days and this morning I gave her a suppository and with in 10 mins she had filled her diaper. It relieved me so much. I was starting to get so worried. She wasn't fussy at all or showing she was uncomfortable so I wasn't to worried but everytime I went to change her diaper, I was wishing to see she had filled it. But now I can just relax and know how to get her to go in the future if it happens again.

I also have been having the feeling I haven't been producing much milk and so my good friend gave me her breast pump to start trying to get more of a flow when Autumn isn't eating and also to see how much I had left when she was done eating. I am not sure if I am using the pump right but I couldn't get that much. And I tried again when it was time to feed her and I didn't get that much out...but she took the bottle great and took what I was able to get out...then I just let her latch on and get what she could. I think she is better at getting the milk than the pump. It is a REALLY nice pump...i just don't know if I am using it right and or my body is just not use to producing more than what she is eating right now. Who knows. I just don't want to "Dry up".

I am going to bring her and I into the Doc' tomorrow. I haven't been feeling very good the past few days. I get sick feelings throughout the day that last a couple hours and then go away. So I will check up on that and then Autumns skin in her fat creases are looking irritated, red and kind of looks raw. It just has been today that that has been the way it has, but I don't want it to get worse. So I will update tomorrow how it went.

Ohh and her cradle cap is almost gone! Yay...that as so not attractive. OK so till tomorrow.

Heather- Don't get frusturated about the pumping. I never could pump anything and nursed my kids till they were 13 months old. Just keep nursing her and the doctor will tell you if he is concerned. She is getting enough to eat!!
