Here is Buffy. He likes to hang out with me while I do my thing in the garden.
Here is my Brother In law and his girls hanging out with Autumn. They came and stayed with us the other night before their drive home to Colorado. It was a fun little hang out.
Jarret caught a frog while at the Hamilton Family Reunion and was taking it home with him and when I went into the bathroom I saw this poor little guy. Luckily Jarret forgot the frog and Matt let it go. Not that it will survive here...but at least it wont die in a water bottle. I also gave him probably its last meal...a fly. Who knows it may live and multiply in my back yard. Ha, yeah right.
So I water my garden every morning after Autumn and I eat and we go hang out and water the garden and pull weeds and I take pictures. It is fun to see how the garden has been growing. It sure has been slow but now I think I have almost all the vegetables growing produce.
Ohh and really quick I thought I would post the pics that were on my camera of Autumn and Aunt Shelly. They are just so cute.
I actually have had some fun talking with Michelle about the garden. She is growing a garden as well and has some plants I would like to try next year. Like Onions...and chives...watermelons...I think they were watermelons. Hmm.
Here I think is my first Pumpkin coming through. I was really starting to wonder about if I had a bad plant. One that just grows and takes over the garden and never produces anything. I decided to do some research on the pumpkin plant to see what I should be expecting and this is what I should expect.
Here is some more cucumbers coming through. These guys are smaller than my pinkie...
Here is an ants perspective of the garden. I'm lame I know. I just want to keep taking pictures of the garden. Of course I love to take pictures of plants too!
So I also learned while I was doing some homework on the pumpkin plants that the flower on the plant only blooms for one day and then seals up forever...Crazy huh.
I also noticed another little pumpkin coming through...yay! Maybe I will be able to carve into my own pumpkins this Halloween! That would be wonderful!
Here is a fun picture of a small vine on the plant.
Here is my adorably cute gardening partner.
She loves to kick her feet up while hanging out.
And I love those little feet she is kicking up! So cute and tiny.
Here is one of the flowering plants I planted last year that came back. Pretty cool flower with the middle part where the pollen is is called a stigma...which I think is cool because it has another little blooming thing on it. A blooming flower with another blooming thing on the stigma.
I also planted last year Lavender plants that came back in full force. There is no blooms except this one I found, but I love the aroma that they give off even when the blooms are gone. Autumn and I love to lay on the grass near them and smell their wonderful scent.
I was at the table and looked over when I saw these two sleeping together. Buffy loves to cuddle with anyone or anything and she...I mean he...loves to cuddle with Bear. We find them all the time cuddled up sleeping together. Well I think it really is Buffy cuddling with Bear.
I noticed this Bee completely covered in pollen when I was watering the garden this morning. Pretty fun thing to see. And also fun to think of the process of what this Bee goes through.
Alright I better stop with the garden pictures...for now at least. How is your garden growing?
