Autumn, Autumn, Autumn...My little munchkin. Its almost 10:30 and my little one is still asleep. She had a fever last night of 102. Starting around 630 last night. fighting sleep around 7 and uncomfortable the rest of the night. She was able to sleep but getting to sleep was hard. around 10 we sat her in the tub and attempted laying her down (for like 5 seconds at a time) with some water that was obviously cooler than her temp. She didn't like it but it did lower her temp and she did notice it helped. She was noticeably more relaxed and getting a deeper sleep.
(I did read after that your not suppose to put them in cooler waters unless her temps reach over 102. But I thought her temp was close enough to try.)
Around 4:30, back up to 102 degrees, I was able to give her more medicine, she took that dose really well, around 630 her fever had reduced greatly and sleeping great. And still asleep. I checked on her. She's still breathing. Poor little girl. Cant wait to go hold her.
