I thought we were going to move this spring, so I didn't focus on my yard or anything in it. We came to deciding that we love this area and didn't want to move. So we are staying and that created a whole new "to do" list.
I'm going to re-do my back yard. I'm pretty stoked. We are replacing and adding to our deck and tearing out a lot of cement...which will be replaced with lots of area to grow hopefully a lush garden. I'm also building a little green house..and tearing out the bushes ..and ... and.. it never ends.
So a majority of my plants this year are all in containers (hence the thought of moving). Ive never grown anything out of containers. It was a learning experience for me.
I loved that my snaps I grew from seed are all now blooming and giving me that rewarding feeling.
All my tomato plants have tomato's on them. Hopefully they will be edible here soon. Love picking tomato's fresh from the vine.
My Zucchini and yellow squash are doing great. I want to try something I saw on line this year. I better get on it to before its to late. I want to stake the yellow & zucchini squashes so they grow up along the stake. We will see if I can do it this year and have it only take up 1 sq ft.
Dang Grass hoppers. No matter how much I lay down bug killer stuff..these guys always survive. Hopefully when I flick them in the head as hard as I can it kills em instantly and scares their friends...
